The 25th of September will mark this site's fourth year. It's hard to believe that it's been four years since the majority of us met, since we all saw the trailer and fed into the hype. From Ethan Haas (unrelated) all the way to Super8 (again unrelated) we have been through a lot.
I guess the story can begin on Youtube when Joel (Nightowl) posted a video about starting a website. Everyone was excited we finally had a place besides that Youtube group (Which no longer exists. Youtube discontinued groups in 2010). With the help of Cashaddy and several other people Nightowl was able to get the site up and running.
I'm not trying to write a whole book here (which I could) I just wanted everyone to reflect on everything that has happened here. We were a group of strangers that became a family. We don't talk anymore but I think we should change that because the real reason I am posting this is because September 25th has another meaning behind it. It is the expiration date on the site.I have no idea if Cashaddy will save the site again or not (I wouldn't blame him if he didn't) but if he does It's not goodbye. I will be posting a link to my personal facebook. Request me and msg me with your username from the site. I will add you to TJ Miller's (Hud from the movie) Cloverfield group on Facebook.
At this time all we can do is hope something comes out, something starts up, or we get some solid evidence that Cloverfield 2 is in the works (besides an IMDB page and an interview with Matt Reeves).
